TTFB (Time-to-first-byte)

Time to first byte or TTFB is a measurement used to determine the responsiveness of a network resource like a web server or any other type of element. In the web environment, it refers to the time between when a user makes an HTTP request and when the first byte of the page is received by the client’s browser.
